Daule-Peripa reservoir and Marcel Laniado de Wind hydroelectric plant. It is located in the far north of the province of Guayas and is the largest reservoir on the coast, with a capacity of 6 million m³ of water. It was created to control flooding on the banks of the Daule river basin and also facilitate irrigation for agriculture in its area of influence throughout the year.
