Lucy Waterfall: Cascade 80 meters high, with a moderate flow, is divided into 2 parts or steps where this vital fluid runs. It is at the end of the visit to the cave, opening with its spectacular beauty mixed among ferns, parrots and exotic insects and the water appearing at the end of the hill.

Cantonization parties - January 2. - There are activities such as: motocross, the amazonian regatta, civic parade and the agricultural, livestock and craft fair. In the celebrations there are cultural manifestations that have been preserved.
Anniversary of the Huamboya National School - May 24.
1970 - April 28. - The first settlers of Huamboya left from Cuenca heading to this place to colonize it.
1991 - December 26. - The Plenary of the Legislative Commissions in exercise of the constitutional faculties, issues the Law of Creation of the Huamboya Canton in the Province of Morona Santiago.
1992 - January 2. - In the Official Register in the Plenary of the Legislative Committees, they enact the Law of Creation of the Huamboya Canton, and the Paroquia Pablo Sexto, in the Province of Morona Santiago
