Los Ríos Province - Ecuador

It is one of the 24 provinces of Ecuador, located in the coastal region of the country. Its capital is the city of Babahoyo and its most populated locality is the city of Quevedo. It is a region crossed by water, a resource that bathes its lands and makes it the most fertile area of ​​Ecuador.
Once a cocoa center, it stands out for its agriculture in general and for its cultivation of rice in particular, as well as for its fishing. It is one of the provinces with the highest population density in the country.

The territory of the province does not generally have a pronounced relief: the highest elevations do not exceed 500 meters above sea level. Most of the land is flat.
